We are excited to announce that we have a contract with lessons provider Andy O'Leary. He will be available for lessons starting July 6th.
For those unfamiliar with Andy, we took the time to ask him a few questions about himself.
Who is your favorite golfer? Andy: "Justin Rose"
How long have you been teaching? Andy: "This is my 12th year"
Why are you excited to start teaching at The Club At Westlinks? Andy: "Being a 12-hole facility, it’s a unique opportunity. I enjoy helping golfers of all levels grow and learn more about the game. Anytime I have an opportunity to share my knowledge of the game, I’m happy to do that"
When will your lessons run? (What's the start date to end date?) Andy: "Every Saturday from July 6 to September 28."
What will people learn? and why will it benefit them? Andy: "I will help golfers understand their swing. It’s important to be able to understand why things happen and make necessary adjustments along the way."
What are some tips for couples golfing together to have a stress free day on the links? Andy: "It’s all about encouragement - avoid giving advice and just enjoy each others company."
Do people need to commit to more than one lesson with you or can they just come out for one to see if they like it? Andy: "I’m excited to offer lessons from a single session up to eight or more sessions. Whatever time commitment you’re interested in making, I’m happy to help!"
What are you most excited about this golf season in golf? Andy: "Spending time on the course with my family - my wife and I have two boys (3 & 5) with a third child on the way in December. Watching them enjoy being outdoors and enjoying their time on the course is priceless!"
